The yellow day lilies in my front yard becomes luminous with the evening sun. The light shining through the petals create a beautiful back lit effect. Yellow is the most luminous of all the colors on my palette and the eye is naturally drawn to it, so I had no choice but to chase the light to see where and when it landed on the day lily. It took a couple of days, as some were overcast, before I found that one moment.
