Lavender Lassie was the first rose to bloom in my garden. Between thunderstorms, I ran out and did a quick sketch of the bloom, which I later completed in the studio. Yes, it is a pink flower!

Have you ever noticed how more beautiful the sunset is after a storm? The air is always fresher, the colors vivid and the waves become less rough as the storm moves away. A walk on the beach is cooling and refreshing and the sunsets are always amazing!

This still life was so much fun to paint! The three apples are Jazz on the top, Granny Smith and Honey Crisp on the bottom. I wanted an unusual setup with just the three apples. It took a while, but I found it!

If you should ever be in the White Mountains of New Hampshire adn come to Falls on the Basin take a short hike to the Basin-Cascades Trail. At the top of Kingsman Falls is the Cascade Brook. The Brook is filled with various Rock Art. This one was my favorite.

I hiked though Nachal Tsin on my last trip to Israel. I turned around and saw this face lit by the setting sun. I was captivated and had to paint it. There are three faces in this painting. Can you find them?

I think of coconuts as large flowers, but on a tall tree. The coconuts are like the petals of a flower, each one unique, with their own shape and color. Together, they are dynamic and exciting, especially with the frond blowing in the wind.
